Joseph A. "Jay" Kalasnik concentrates his practice in criminal defense, vehicle and traffic law, and municipal law.

Mr. Kalasnik is a member of the York and Lancaster Bar Associations and the Pennsylvania Bar Association (Criminal Law Section). Mr. Kalasnik is admitted to practice before the United State District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, the United States Bankruptcy Court, and the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania.

Mr. Kalasnik received a Bachelors Degree from Pillsbury Baptist Bible College (1982), and his law degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Law (1995). Mr. Kalasnik also attended Calvary Baptist Theological Seminary in Lansdale, PA (1983-84). In law school, Mr. Kalasnik was a member of the school’s Moot Court Team and was Vice-President of the Phi Delta Phi Legal Fraternity. Mr. Kalasnik serves as solicitor for several municipal agencies, and has served on the board of directors of various local charities.

Mr. Kalasnik’s experience as a criminal defense attorney includes cases ranging from traffic violations to homicide. He advises municipal zoning boards and also represents private clients when appearing before zoning boards or other municipal agencies.

During leisure time, Mr. Kalasnik is an avid sports photographer, and pursues a strong interest in United States military history.
