Wills: Do it Yourself?

(Published in the Spring/Summer of 2010 Newsletter)

Is an online Will for you? A Will kit from a superstore? If you think so, you do them at your own risk. Fail to execute them according to Pennsylvania Law and they are worthless. Is that Will kit going to meet with you face-to-face and ask questions about your Will planning: questions you haven't even thought to ask the computer? The truth is, a Will, Power of Attorney, and Living Will act together to secure everything you have worked so hard to protect, including all your property, savings, and the custody of your children should both parents die. A well-trained lawyer will cost very little compared to all that you have to protect. If you want to save $100 or $150, and hope you did it right, that's you call, but know that doing so could cost you dearly in the end. Call our Wills and estates attorneys today for help.
